art prize: Plan B

"Wow!" I said. "This piece of art is amazing!" We were looking at a piece of art called Plan B. Through art, these people were trying to show what our homes or cities would look like if we reused more and didn't use all of the modern stuff that we use today. It felt like a little town because there were about 3 or 4 tents that had different things in them. They were even selling little necklaces, greeting cards, bookmarks, hats, etc. They were all home made! They also had a lean-to type of place where they had it set up as a kitchen. They had put a laundry tub in there to use as a sink. I think it would make anyone say,"wow!" because the artists were actually staying there overnight and there was no fridge! Wow!

But when I thought about it, I realized that their really are people who have to live like that. The art inspired me to reuse even more and find at least 2 uses for most things(NOT including food!)

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is AWESOME!!! If you have read the books, you will believe me. I have read all the books. I have also watched the 1st, half of the 2nd, and the 3rd movies. I have watched the Deathly Hallows trailer about 5 times! I want watch the Deathly Hallows movie as soon as it comes out and go to the midnight release even though I haven't seen all the other movies. Just so you know, I am mostly writing this for Harry Potter lovers, but anyone can read it! My parents said I was driving them crazy, talking about Harry Potter so much. So they said I should blog about it. So, that was my post. I hoped you enjoyed it!

The Bee Sting

All of the sudden, I was in the middle of a swarm of bees. Then I felt something on my shoulder!It hurt worse than a pin prick! "ooowwwww!" I cried. "I just got a bee sting!" but it was worse than a bee sting, it was a wasp sting! Somebody just happened to have a bandaid and they gave it to me. Mama said I had to put the ice cold water bottle I brought on the wasp sting. It felt like a wasp was still stinging me for awhile after that. I sat on a bench for awhile, but then I got up and started doing stuff with the rest of the kids. We were at Garden Club.And that's how I got my first bee sting.I still shudder when I think about it!

when I got my head superglued

Once I went to my friend Angela's house for a sleepover. Her sister Lauren had invited her friends Elle and Gabby over. Later we watched Toy Story 2. Then we went to bed. I shared the top bunk with Angela. Elle thought we should throw stuffed animals around. I started throwing Angela's bears down and I accidentally threw down my blankey that I always sleep with. When I got it back I layed down ( but not very carefully,) and I bonked my head. All of the sudden, I noticed I was bleeding. I had cut my head open a little bit. I ended up going to the emergency room with my mama to get it super glued. I got to get Lucky Charms and gum. Later I got to go back to have breakfast with them. When I got back they were making cards for me.

The strawberry fairy comes on Halloween night when you are done trick-or-treating and snuggled up tight. KAZAP! She turns your sticky candy into fresh, sweet, strawberries. Secretly she's watching, and I think you know who, smiles to herself and thinks, I fixed you.
